A follow-up to the “peek through the loupe ” post, I have now received my rings from Charlton & Lola , which completes the set. What a wonderful journey from initial concept to designing sessions over pots of tea to the social media admiration of the final product.

My Mother always says the good stuff comes out of hard work, that to get a gold ring you have to melt it, hammer it, pound it…do people realize how much work goes into making gold? I think not mama. I'm always in awe of the final product. I believe this platinum project took over a year to dream and imagine, get the stones, get the platinum, make the rings, make the molds, solder, clean, polish, set and polish again. I thank Lady Cindy for her patience and utter faith in the process of creating beauty.
